Le Trou de l’Ermite, a Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre blend, has a deep, intense ruby red color with hints of violet. On the nose, wonderful aromas of fruity freshness and licorice. On the palate, a fantastic fruity taste, underlined by notes of black fruit and olive tapenade. The freshness delivers all the personality of this wine – the power of the Mediterranean style, tempered with a delightful softness.
This delightful red is best served slightly chilled. We like this wine with Provençale dishes such as lamb or roasted duck with thyme.
