At Château Saint Louis the Négrette vines (also called Pinot Saint Georges), the main variety of the Fronton appellation, grow on the Tarn river terraces. Both vinification and 12-month ageing process are done in concrete tanks in order to reveal the best expression of Négrette: subtle alliance between red fruits, violet notes, licorice and hints of spice.
We enjoy Négrette with a Cassoulet or Indian dishes.
